About me…
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #155395) based in California. I earned my MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, where I focused on LGBT Affirmative Therapy. Supporting queer and marginalized communities is at the heart of my work, and I approach these issues from a place of validation, curiosity, and respect.
My clinical path started at APLA Health, a longtime leader in HIV care and LGBTQ+ health. From there, I went on to work at Amend Treatment, a residential facility for individuals facing complex mental health challenges. In private practice, I work with individuals, couples, and families on a range of concerns, including trauma, identity, relationships, and navigating big life transitions.
I come from a psychodynamic foundation but draw from multiple approaches - including DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR - depending on what feels most useful for each person I work with. My style is collaborative and informed by the idea that healing happens when we feel seen and safe enough to explore our inner world.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years as a television producer. That work gave me a deep appreciation for storytelling and the complexity of people’s lived experiences. I also hold a BA in Film and Media Studies from UC Santa Barbara, where I got to explore how media and culture shape how we see ourselves and each other.
My own experience in therapy was life-changing, and it’s what brought me to this work. I feel deeply honored to sit with people as they untangle their histories, confront what’s no longer working, and move toward something more aligned. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready to know yourself better, I’d love to support you in that process.
